Single Wavelength Partial Reflective Coating, P-polarized S-polarized Beam Splitting Thin Film Optical Coating Overview: Single Wavelength Partial Reflective coating is a very thin layer of interference coating applied on one surface of the substrate. This surface will reflect back a designated ratio light that strikes its surface while letting the other go straight through.
The ratio of the power between two beams is determined by the coating. By adjusting the design, we can provide split ratio of 10/90, 20/80, 30/70, 40/60, 50/50 for a specified wavelength for average polarization, P-polarized or S-polarized of incident light.
